Theatre Poster.

Into the Woods was a Belfrey Theatre Production of the Stephen Sondheim musical. I decided to go with the dark atmosphere for the design of the poster. Where I think this design of this poster shines is in the text, with the ‘I’ in ‘Into’ forming a tree that towers over the rest of the word. The choice of typeface for the rest of the title text evokes the distorted fairytale setting of the story.
